Wrathful Dorje Drolo
Dorje Drolo, a wrathful manifestation of Guru Padmasambhava, is honored in Tibetan Buddhism for his role in defeating evil spirits and leading practitioners to enlightenment. The fierce energy and spiritual strength of Dorje Drolo are captured in this skillfully hand-painted thangka, made on cotton canvas with striking acrylic colors and real 24K gold accents. The artwork is created in the traditional Tibetan style, showcasing both artistic perfection and profound spiritual symbolism.
Dorje Drolo is portrayed in a dynamic, wrathful pose, seated upon a roaring tigress, indicating his mastery over ignorance and primal fears. He carries a vajra in one hand, indicating indestructible wisdom, and a ritual dagger (phurba) in the other, symbolizing his power to cut through negativity and impediments. His garland of human skulls symbolizes the transcendence of ego and mortality, while the flames in his halo represent transformational force and heavenly protection. This thangka is a powerful addition to meditation spaces or sacred collections, providing spiritual strength and protection.
