Description
Tibetan Guru Padmasambhava Thangka in Karma Gadri Style
This thangka of Guru Rinpoche is a traditional Karma Gadri thangka, we painted this year using natural stone colors and 24K Gold. The use of a soft and subtle color palette has created a beautiful background for this thangka. Dominantly green, this thangka displays one of the most refined arts of shading colors, especially in the sky, land, and the water.
Guru Rinpoche here portrays his semi wrathful expression in the most beautiful way, his eyes gazing in the meditative mudra and wearing his profound lotus hat. His multi-colored brocade has intricate gold linings, creating amazing swirling patterns.
One of the most favorite thangka of Guru Rinpoche from our Enlightenment Studio is here for you!

Introduction:
Guru Padmasambhava is not only a fully enlightened Buddha, but he has also manifested as one of the greatest sages of the Vajrayana Buddhist world. He was born miraculously and served infinite beings for millenniums through the power of his wisdom and compassion. He manifested Zangdok Palri Pureland and remained there in the body of light.
Twelve years after the Maha Parinirvana of the Buddha, the rays of blessing light of the Buddha of Infinite Light touched a lotus in the Milk Ocean in the Southwest direction from Bodhgaya. As a result, Guru Padmasambhava was born miraculously in that lotus by "lotus birth" without human parents.
