Tibetan Namo Shakyamuni Meditating Buddha Thangka

This is the thangka of Namo Shakyamuni, who is depicted as a meditating Buddha. Our artist has painted this thangka with genuine 24k gold and natural stone color in traditional Karma Gadri Style. He is seated atop a lotus moon disc in a calm and serene expression. His right hand is on earth touching mudra while his left hand is carrying a bowl. The blue halo illuminates his face, making this thangka exquisitely more adorable.

Shakyamuni Buddha, often known as "the Buddha," is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhist doctrine. Each "Kalpa" (Buddhist eon) is thought to have its own Buddha, whose teachings disappear when the next Buddha comes. He is believed to have lived about 420 BC and spent most of his time spreading Dharma teachings.
