Traditional Buddhist Niguma Yoga Thangka For Daily Practice

This thangka is exclusively hand-painted for Niguma Yoga practice. In this art, the yogi is shown in her notable pose, dressed in sumptuous silk robes and a crown, exuding a magical atmosphere. We have drawn the deity on a cotton canvas using acrylic colors and genuine 24K gold. Her lessons on meditating and engaging in yogic practices were profound and significant since she was a master of the traditional Dzogchen teachings. A lovely complement to your spiritual practice, this hand-painted Niguma Thangka invites you to commune with the knowledge and strength of this remarkable master.

As a sign of your devotion to Niguma's teachings and as a source of motivation for your Niguma yoga practice, you can place it on display in your meditation area or house.

Note: Niguma Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Niguma is considered one of India's most critical and influential yoginis and Vajrayana's 10th or 11th-century teachers. She was a Dakini and one of the two female founders of the Shangpa Kagyu school of Vajrayana Buddhism and Dakini Sukhasiddhi. Like many Mahasiddhas and Mantrayana practitioners, Niguma was known by several names during her lifetime and afterward. She was called Yogini Vimalashri, or Vajradhara Niguma, or Jñana (wisdom) Dakini Adorned with Bone (ornaments), or The Sister referring to her purported relationship with the great Buddhist teacher and adept Naropa.
