Padmasambhava, The Second Buddha Thangka

Guru Padmasambhava, the Second Buddha, is an important individual in Tibetan Buddhism, credited with introducing the Dharma teachings to Tibet. A protector and a symbol of spiritual awakening, Padmasambhava is well-known for his insight, kindness, and transformational abilities. This thangka, measuring 6.5" (width) by 9" (height), is painted on canvas with bright natural stone hues and 24K gold accents, creating a compact yet powerful piece of sacred art.

Padmasambhava is shown sitting on a lotus throne, his tranquil yet powerful appearance demonstrating his mastery of spiritual teachings. He holds a vajra in one hand, representing indestructible wisdom, and a skull cup in the other, indicating the transformation of ignorance into enlightenment. His conventional attire features elaborate patterns, and gold accents highlight his celestial luminosity. Perfect for meditation spaces, personal shrines, or as a meaningful gift, this thangka invites the blessings of wisdom, protection, and spiritual guidance.
