Palden Lhamo, also known as Shridevi, is the dark emanation of Vajra Sarasvati, who, in her ferocious form. Palden Lhamo is the loving mother but highly wrathful, furious, and overwhelming in Her power; nothing,
absolutely nothing, can stand in Her way. Palden Lhamo can alternatively be thought
of as the fierce aspect of wisdom, as the wrathful emanation of Vajra Sarasvati.
