About Our Statue :
Honor the Buddha's enlightened presence with this gold-plated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue, which is carved from copper and plated in gold. This sacred artwork, measuring 16.5cm in height and 12.5cm in width, exudes peace, wisdom, and spiritual strength, making it an ideal centerpiece for meditation rooms, home altars, or spiritual sanctuaries.
Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical founder of Buddhism, is seen here in the earth-touching mudra (Bhumisparsha), which represents his moment of enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Every detail from the tranquil look to the flowing robes is meticulously crafted to capture the sense of serenity and transcendence. This monument promotes silence and reflection, serving as a reminder of our essential ability to awaken.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
