Description
Hand-Painted Shakyamuni Buddha Mantra Practice Thangka
The Shakyamuni Buddha Mantra Thangka Painting is a traditional Tibetan masterpiece that our artist has created using acrylic colors. He sits atop a lotus throne, with a moon disc beneath him, engulfed by a beautiful blue nimbus that illuminates his serene face. With an alms bowl in his left hand and an earth-touching mudra in his right, he exudes a tranquil aura that surrounds him like clouds. We have used genuine 24K gold to accentuate the Buddha's features, which adds to the painting's overall beauty. A practitioner like you may feel the calming energy from the river below.

Shakyamuni Buddha is the historical Buddha, the originator of Buddhist philosophy, and is commonly referred to as "the Buddha." In the Buddhist religion, each "Kalpa" (a Buddhist eon) is considered to have its own Buddha, whose teachings gradually fade until the next Buddha arrives. He is believed to have lived around 420 BC and spent most of his time preaching the teachings of Dharma. The Life of Buddha Thangka depicts his life in detail. He is regarded as a role model, mentor, and inspiration. The "dharma," or spiritual belief, and the "sanga," or Buddhist community, are said to secure his presence on Earth.
