Originally Hand Painted Thangka of Shakyamuni Buddha

We have exquisitely hand painted the thangka of Shakyamuni Buddha in traditional Karma Gadri style. In this art, we have depicted a Siddartha Gautama, also known as Gautama Buddha, on top of a moon disc lotus seat with a peaceful expression. We have used genuine 24k gold to gild the thangka and acrylic colors to paint it on a cotton canvas. The transparent halo illuminates his face while the transparent nimbus engulfs his presence. On the mesmerizing background, beneath the blue sky, we have portrayed Buddha holding an alms bowl with his left hand while his right hand is on earth touching mudra.

Shakyamuni Buddha, often known as "the Buddha," is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhist doctrine. Each "Kalpa" (Buddhist eon) is thought to have its own Buddha, whose teachings disappear when the next Buddha comes. He is believed to have lived about 420 BC and spent most of his time spreading Dharma teachings.
