Small Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka, The Enlightened One

The Enlightened One is depicted in the beautifully hand-painted Small Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka, created on canvas with vibrant natural stone colors. Shakyamuni, the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhism represents enlightenment, wisdom, and compassion. The thangka's small size makes it perfect for meditation spaces with limited room or as a portable spiritual companion.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted sitting on a lotus throne in a moment of calm meditation. His glowing yellow body represents his spiritual vitality and enlightened status. His hands are in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, or earth-touching motion, which symbolizes his moment of enlightenment and triumph over ignorance. The monk's bowl he is holding represents simplicity and disengagement from worldly pursuits, while his elongated ears stand for knowledge and the capacity to hear all living things' suffering. The glowing gold highlights and the elaborate decorations of his flowing robes highlight his celestial aura and divine presence.
