Description
Hand Painted Vajrasattva Thangka from Enlightenment Studio
Vajrasattva is painted by our trained Karma Gadri artist Mr. Changba Lama who has more than 18 years of thangka painting experience.
Vajrayana is a powerful path to transformation. Only in Vajrayana, it is possible to attain enlightenment in one lifetime. The practice of Vajrasattva is done to cleanse and purify our negative karma.
It is done in the traditional Karma Gadri style, using natural stone color. The good thing about natural stone color is, it can easily last 100-200 years. All that we see in old monasteries and museums' antique thangka were done using natural stone color.
We follow the Buddhist text and iconography detail to make sure it presents all the right attributes for your meditation practice.

Note: Dorje Sempa Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Dorje Sempa holds a bell in his left hand and a Vajra in his right hand. The bell represents wisdom, while the vajra represents compassion. He sits serenely on a moon disc atop a lotus seat, his legs crossed, symbolizing that he remained in this impure cycle of samsara for the sake of sentient beings while remaining unblemished by its flaws. Dorje Sempais a purification-focused meditational Bodhisattva deity who is worshipped by Vajrayana Buddhists of all sects. According to the scriptures, repenting to Dorje Sempa and singing his hundred-syllable mantra can cleanse one of all sins and obscurations. One of the four preparators of ngondro, a preparatory but necessary practice in Vajrayana Buddhism, is the Dorje Sempa cleansing ceremony.
