Description

Traditional Tibetan Mini Vajrasattva Meditation Thangka

The Mini Vajrasattva Meditation Thangka has been exclusively hand-painted in our studio on a cotton canvas using natural stone colors. Here in the thangka, we have depicted the deity seated on a moon disc atop a lotus seat, his legs crossed, signifying that he endured this impure cycle of rebirth for sentient beings. The deity is portrayed as a single figure holding the vajra in his right hand and the bell in his left, muted against his thigh. We have also utilized genuine 24K gold to further highlight the features in the painting. This thangka will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you. This Vajrasattva Thangka will help inspire your practice. Perfect in size, it can easily fit into your shrine. Or you can carry on if you are a frequent traveler and do not want to miss your daily practice.

Note: Vajrasattva Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Like other Buddhist deities, Vajrasattva, also known as Dorje Sempa, denies the concept of self. As a result, neither "who" nor "what" exists. Vajrasattva is thought to be none other than ourselves, manifested as a pristine Buddha. Vajrasattva can be considered an emanation of Akshobya, Vajradhara, or Samantabhadra. Vajrasattva is no different from any other Buddha in terms of ultimate reality. However, Vajrasattva can be described as a kind and loving God. None of these things are accurate at the exact moment, and none of them genuinely characterize Vajrasattva.
