Hand-Painted Vajrasattva with Consort Thangka on Canvas
Our Vajrasattva with Consort Thangka depicts Vajrasattva, the embodiment of divine purity and compassion in Mahayana Buddhism, with his consort. They represent the transformative power of divine wisdom, as well as the methodological and intellectual unity needed for spiritual enlightenment. This artwork, painted on high-quality cotton canvas with rich acrylic colors and genuine 24K gold, perfectly captures the serene and radiant energies of these celestial beings.
Vajrasattva, seated in a meditative pose, embracing his consort, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion, the essential elements for achieving enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhism. He holds a vajra (thunderbolt) in his right hand, representing method, and a bell in his left hand, symbolizing wisdom. His consort reflects these qualities, adding to the harmony and dynamism of their union.
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as the embodiment of the pure mind of enlightenment. He is traditionally invoked in purification rituals, which are central to Tibetan Buddhist spirituality. His practice is highly valued for its ability to cleanse the practitioner's body, speech, and mind of negative karma and impurities.
