Introduction to Apsara
In Hindu and Buddhist mythology, an apsara is a celestial nymph or spirit that is frequently portrayed as a stunning, ethereal dancer. According to Hindu mythology, apsaras are connected to water and are supposed to live in rivers and forests. They frequently entertained gods and heroes in the skies with their grace, beauty, and musical and dance prowess. Apsaras are depicted as heavenly musicians and dancers accompanying the Gandharvas in Buddhist art and literature. Across South and Southeast Asia, traditional dance performances, sculptures, and temple carvings often portray them as symbols of grace and the divine feminine.

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
