Description
Traditional Buddhist White Tara Thangka
This White Tara thangka is painted in the traditional Karma Gadri style in our Enlightenment Studio. With her bright halo and benevolent expression, the Female Buddha emanates peace. Her outfit features multicolored designs that move throughout her torso. She appears exquisite sitting on a lotus seat that appears to float in the air in this natural ambiance.

The practice of White Tara is performed for any health-related issues. Tara is a meditation deity worshiped by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and to understand outer, inner, and secret teachings such as karuṇā (compassion), mettā (loving-kindness), and shunyata (emptiness). Tara may more properly be understood as different aspects of the same quality, as bodhisattvas are often considered metaphors for Buddhist virtues

We are a team of traditionally trained Karma Gadri artists from Boudha Stupa. Our lineage comes from Venerable Master Jamyang Phunshok. Who is from Kham, Eastern Tibet.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $20 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
