Note: White Tara Meditation Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio, located at Boudha Stupa.

White Tara is a meditational deity practiced by the Vajrayana practitioners. White Tara (also called Drolma) is the female Bodhisattva of Compassion. She embodies the motivation of compassion in action, bestowing blessings of mercy and release from suffering. She engenders, nourishes, smiles at the vitality of creation, and has sympathy for all beings as a mother does for her children.
