Machig Labdron and the Chod Tradition, TibetanThangka Painting

A beautifully painted Machig Labdron thangka from our studio. We have done the Yogini thangka in a traditional Karma Gadri style. She stands graciously in her dancing postures against a surreal background. There are high mountains, rivers, waterfalls, trees, and bushes, adding charm to the backdrop. Also, there is mother Prajna Paramati on the top.
Vajrayana is a powerful path of transformation. Only in Vajrayana, it is possible to attain enlightenment in one lifetime. The practice of Machig Labdron is done to cut your self or Ego identity. The root cause of the problem is believing in the existence of self. And centering the world around that self.
We follow Buddhist text and iconography detail to make sure it presents all the right attribute for your meditation practice.
