Bhaisajyaguru, the Blue Medicine Buddha, is revered in Tibetan Buddhism for its role in healing physical and mental suffering. His blue form symbolizes the purification of diseases and obstacles, and his posture signifies compassion. Holding a medicinal bowl filled with healing nectar, he restores balance and health. Chanting his mantra is believed to bring healing, making it a powerful aid in meditation. The thangka depicts his divine form in rich robes, accompanied by symbolic gestures, and illuminated by gold accents on his serene face, lotus seat, and healing bowl. Created in the Karma Gadri style, this painting embodies his wisdom and compassion, making it an ideal addition to altars, healing spaces, or meditation areas.
