This set features a vajra, which symbolizes unbreakable strength and clarity, and a stupa, which is a revered symbol in Buddhism for the enlightened mind. The vajra is positioned carefully atop the Dharma Dhatu, the stupa's symbolic center.
The elaborately designed and gold-plated stupa is a reflection of the depth and richness of Buddhist symbolism. The stupa's visual appeal is enhanced and its sacredness is signified by the 24k gold plating. Complementing the stupa, the accompanying gold-plated vajra has deep spiritual significance and is frequently used in rituals and as a meditation tool.
This set is perfect for Buddhists, spiritual artifact collectors, or anyone looking to add something special to their meditation area. This set is a powerful symbol of Buddhist practices and teachings in addition to being an aesthetically pleasing piece due to the combination of the gold-plated stupa and vajra on a copper body.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated but sometimes buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The stupa's base represents his crossed legs as he sat meditatively. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
