Description

A Blue Ekajati thangka painted in pure gold on a black background is a stunning and rare piece of art. The use of pure gold for the painting has make it visually striking but also symbolically significant, as gold is often associated with the highest spiritual offerings.

In such a thangka, Blue Ekajati is depicted in her fierce form, with a blue complexion and one eye, holding various implements and standing or dancing on figures symbolizing obstacles. Against the black canvas, the gold painting would stand out prominently, creating a powerful and captivating image.
