About Our Saraswati Statue
The statue is carved from a brass body. The deity is depicted seated upon a moon disc lotus with a musical instrument called the veena, which rests upon her lap with her right hand pointing upwards. Our Artists worked tirelessly for months on end, molding, hand-carving elaborate designs, and gliding with gold in our workshop.
Introduction to Saraswati
Saraswati is the Divine Embodiment & bestower of Enlightened Eloquence & Inspiration, patroness of the arts, sciences, music, language, literature, history, poetry & philosophy, and all those engaged in creative endeavors in Tibetan Buddhism. She is considered the peaceful manifestation of Palden Lhamo (Glorious Goddess).

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
