This gold-gilded statue of the female bodhisattva Green Tara is made with the help of a machine. Gold gilded on a copper body, the statue exudes brilliant luster. Here, the bodhisattva is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with two utpala flowers blossoming beside each of her shoulders. She is forming the 'Vitraka mudra' and 'Varada mudra' with her right and left hand, respectively.
