Guru Rinpoche Buddhist Thangka Painted With Natural Stone Colors
The Buddhist Thangka of Guru Rinpoche is picturized with green hills, trees, and white clouds. He is painted with a rich white complexion, very peaceful, and wears a monk's hat. He is sitting on a lotus rising from the lake with his right hand in a mudra holding a vajra and his left hand holding a skull cup. He is richly attired with lavishly gold patterned robes to signify his royal bearing. They exude the peaceful feeling of the lakeside as a substantial part of the landscape is dominated by the rippling water.
