Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche Thangka, Traditional Tibetan Thangka Painting
This wonderful Tibetan Thangka painting of Guru Padmasambhava is done by one of our senior artists, Chitra lama. He has been painting Karma Gadri thangka for more than 12 years now, and this thangka is one of his favorite so far. He has meticulously worked on the backgrounds and color palettes to acquire the subtleness, which is helpful for the Practitioners while meditating. Our artist has picturized Guru's body depicted as golden in color. He wears different robes of differing colors symbolizing his enlightened experiences and attainments. His inner garments are white, representing the clear light aspect of his mind and the outer garment is multicolor. His outer coat is brown, symbolizing renunciation. He is seated upon a lotus, alternating blue with red and green with orange petals.

Note: Guru Rinpoche Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
The precious teacher was a powerful Tantric Buddhist master. He is invited to Tibet in the eighth century to propagate Buddhism. He was born miraculously and served infinite beings for millenniums through the power of his wisdom and compassion. He manifested Zangdok Palri Pureland and remained there in the body of light.
Twelve years after the Maha Parinirvana of the Buddha, the rays of blessing light of the Buddha of Infinite Light touched a lotus in the Milk Ocean in the Southwest direction from Bodhgaya. As a result, Guru Rinpoche was born miraculously in that lotus by "lotus birth" without human parents.
HAND-PAINTED WITH STONE COLORS AND 24K GOLD IN TRADITIONAL KARMA GADRI STYLE.
