Note: Red Tara Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Red Tara, a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, is a compassionate and dynamic goddess associated with love, protection, and swift intervention. Revered as a manifestation of the enlightened feminine energy, Red Tara is often depicted with a vibrant red complexion, symbolizing her fierce and powerful nature. As one of the 21 Taras, she is considered a swift and compassionate guide, helping devotees overcome obstacles and attain spiritual enlightenment. Red Tara is particularly associated with the activities of magnetizing and enchantment, using her compassionate energy to attract positive influences and dispel negativities. Devotees turn to Red Tara for assistance in matters of love, relationships, and achieving their aspirations. The depiction of Red Tara in thangka art is a visual homage to her divine qualities, capturing the essence of her compassionate and protective presence, as well as serving as a focal point for meditation and devotion in Tibetan Buddhist practices.
