White Tara, a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, embodies the compassionate and nurturing qualities of enlightened wisdom. Often depicted with a serene countenance, White Tara is considered the goddess of compassion, healing, and longevity. Her white complexion symbolizes purity, and she is associated with the moon, signifying a cool and soothing presence. White Tara is frequently depicted with seven eyes, including eyes on her forehead and palms, symbolizing her watchfulness and ability to perceive the suffering of all beings. Devotees turn to White Tara for solace, protection, and the extension of a long, healthy life. Her practice involves invoking her blessings to overcome obstacles and cultivate inner peace.
