About Our Ritual Item :
This Handmade Tibetan Buddhist Stupa is a powerful symbol of enlightenment, peace, and the awakened mind in Tibetan Buddhism. Standing 22cm tall and adorned with vibrant coral and turquoise stones, it serves as a spiritual centerpiece for your altar, meditation space, or sacred home decor. The Stupa, or Chorten, is revered for its ability to store spiritual energy, promote harmony, and inspire devotion in practitioners.
Meticulously crafted from copper and mercury, this Stupa features a radiant gold-plated finish that reflects traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. The use of coral and turquoise inlays not only enhances its visual beauty but also carries deep spiritual meaning—turquoise for healing and protection, and coral for life force and inner strength. This sacred object is ideal for anyone seeking to bring blessings, mindfulness, and spiritual balance into their life or home.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
