About Our Statue :
The handcrafted Buddha Siddhartha Gautama Shakyamuni statue is a beautiful piece of art representing the important moment in Buddhist history when Buddha overcame the world's temptations and achieved enlightenment. Shakyamuni's right hand reaching for the earth, also known as the Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizes his victory over Mara and his determination to remain grounded in his path to enlightenment.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.
