Description
Jambala thangka portrays the iconography of Jambhala, a prominent deity revered for his association with wealth and prosperity in Tibetan Buddhist traditions. He is depicted as a robust, golden-hued figure, symbolizing richness and abundance. In one hand, he clutches a mongoose that emits precious jewels, symbolizing the bestowal of wealth and prosperity. In the other hand, he holds a citron fruit (a symbol of fertility and prosperity) or a gem, representing the fulfillment of wishes and material abundance.
The thangka, painted on a traditional Karma Gadri tradition exhibits a meticulous arrangement of patterns and colors. Karma Gadri is renowned for its intricate brushwork and the use of natural mineral pigments, resulting in a rich and vibrant visual appeal.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
