Manjushree Brocade Thangka, Wisdom Bodhisattva Art
Manjushree brocade Thangka art is painted using acrylic color and genuine 24K Gold. The wisdom of Bodhisattva's happy demeanor reflects in blue Halo. He's wearing colorful, multicolored clothing with a green patterned scarf flowing down his back. Sitting on a lotus which seemed like floating in the air, he looked divine. He wields a flaming sword of wisdom in his right hand, while in his left, he holds a blue lotus flower stem.

In Mahayana Buddhism, Manjushri is a bodhisattva ("Buddha-to-be") who personifies supreme knowledge. He is also known as Manjughosa ("Sweet Voice") and Vagisvara ("Lord of Speech"). His name means "gentle, or sweet, splendor" in Sanskrit. He is known as Wen-shu Shih-li in China, Monju in Japan, and Jam-dpal in Tibet.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $20 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
