Manjushri Buddha Thangka Art

The Manjushri Buddha Thangka Art is painted in traditional karma Gadri style. His kind personality reflects in his calm temperament and vivid Halo. Multicolored stripes stretch the length of his body in his clothing. He seems divine as he sits on a  lotus on the bank of a river that runs from the peaks of the high green hills.

Note: Manjushri Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Manjushri is Graceful, Magnificent, and Melodic, and he encompasses all of the buddhas' unfathomable wisdom. He carries a fiery sword of knowledge in his right hand, and in his left, a lotus flower stem on which a volume of the Perfection of Wisdom sutras sits. His two-edged sword slashes through layers of misunderstanding, clearly differentiating between the independent way things appear and the accurate interdependent way they do. Manjushri emptied the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, making it habitable for humans and distributing the Buddha's teachings.
