Description
Master Padmasambhava, Lotus-Born Guru Handmade Thangka Painting
Master Padmasambhava, the lotus-born guru, is depicted in the handmade Thangka painting. In our artist's Thangka, Guru Rinpoche reclines calmly and wears a monk's hat. He sits on a lotus with a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in his left. His inner clothes are white, symbolizing the mind's dazzling light aspect, while his outside garb is brown, representing his sacrifice. The Thangka portrays the serene background with dry, cracked land with multicolor flowers blooming.
