Our seven-water offering bowl is a siku design fine quality set. Siku is a process of putting patterns in the product by wielding copper, silver, or other metal wires, Creating various eye-catchy designs. this type of craftsmanship is unique to Nepali culture and is made by very skillful artists of Nepal. Similarly, turquoise is studded on each bowl making it an attractive altar.
Offering bowls are one of the basic practice in Vajrayana and other forms of Mahayana. Tibetan offer water first thing in the morning along with Serkyem filled with tea or wine, Butter lamp, and conclude with an incense offering. It is a way to make offerings to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in four directions. Buddhist practices emphasize seven bowls of water, representing the absolute purity of the Buddhas. Water, without which there can be no life, is symbolic of our attachments and greed.
