Wrathful Vajrapani Dharmapala Thangka | The Shakyamuni’s Protector
Vajrapani, Shakyamuni Buddha's protector, is a potent symbol of spiritual strength and Dharma protector. Using natural Lhasa stone hues, this magnificent thangka is skillfully hand-painted on high-quality cotton canvas and embellished with genuine 24K gold. This artwork, created in the traditional Karma Gadri style, follows the guidelines in the traditional meditation manual, ensuring authenticity and spiritual depth. With Amitabha Buddha reclining above as a sign of enlightenment, this thangka embodies the ideal combination of protection and knowledge.
Vajrapani is seen in his wrathful form, standing with dynamic force to repel impediments and negativity. The vajra, or thunderbolt, which he wields in his right hand, represents unbreakable strength and intelligence. His fierce expression reflects his role as the protector of Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings. A vibrant halo of flames envelops him, representing purification and change. Above Vajrapani, Amitabha Buddha is depicted in tranquil meditation, bestowing blessings of enlightenment and serenity.
