Introduction of GyaltsabJe
Gyaltsab Je was the first of the two principal disciples of Lord Gyalwang Tsoknyi Rinpoche to take the monastic ordination, and he became Gyalwang Tsoknyi Rinpoche's root torma-offerer. He was born the son of a torma-offerer in the Kham, Tibet region. At the age of eight, his mother brought him to see Gyalwang Tsoknyi Rinpoche at his monastery in Nangchen. Gyalwang Tsoknyi Rinpoche recognized the young boy as a great being, a true Dharma master, and foretold that he would become his own incarnation in a future life. The boy then spent several years studying with his father, who taught him how to read and write, as well as many other subjects.
