She stands in the dynamic dancing pose, stepping over Kalarati and Bhairav to represent her victory over ego and attachment. A flaming throne of wisdom fire surrounds her, symbolizing her cleansing force that drives out negativity and a false belief. She carries a curved knife with a vajra handle in her right hand, signifying her capacity to cut misconceptions, and a blood-dripping skull cup on her left, signifying the consuming of ego and the conversion of wants into wisdom. A khatvanga (tantric staff), representing the combination of wisdom and skillful ways, rests on her left shoulder.
