White Tara, the Goddess of Longevity, is one of the most beloved and revered deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Depicted with seven eyes, she symbolizes all-seeing wisdom and compassion she offers to sentient beings. Each eye, located on her forehead, palms, and soles, represents her deep awareness and readiness to relieve suffering. White Tara is often called upon for health, longevity, and protection, with her presence offering comfort and peace. This thangka, showing her serene face and graceful posture, reflects her gentle yet powerful nature as a healer, prepared to bring protection, healing, and wisdom to all who seek her.
The 24K gold accents in this thangka highlight White Tara’s divine attributes—her crown, halo, adding radiant light. The natural stone colors add depth and vibrancy, emphasizing her purity and spiritual depth. It can be placed on an altar, in a meditation room, or a sacred space, inviting her healing energy and reminding us of her compassion and wisdom.
