The copper body of this lovely treasure box is plated with gold. The box is made more appealing by the gemstones utilized in it. This lovely piece was made by hand in Nepal and features a roomy hollow spot where you may insert another Buddhist mantra of your choosing.

Tibetan Buddhists have long utilized the Tibetan guru box as a shrine to store and transport holy artifacts and other sanctified items. The nomadic Tibetans kept ghaus, objects of protection and blessings, close to their hearts while traveling and kept them in specially prepared silk pouches.
