Bringing a custom thangka to life with Enlightenment was perfect from the beginning. Since we were dealing with an image that is seldomly portrayed and with a very detailed description, it was wonderful to see how opened they were to the idea. Neelam has been very thorough, caring and attentive throughout the process, and I cannot thank her enough. Once the sketches started, it was beyond remarkable how talented and sensible the senior artist Chitra Lama is. His capacity to convey all the details of the description and the subtleties of his artistry impressed me at every step of the way. And even more so when I received the thangka – its beautiful presence is not something I can put into words. It was an auspicious, meaningful connection, worthy of praise, and I am truly grateful.
