Hand-Painted Buddha Shakyamuni Prayer Thangka

This Tibetan Buddhist artwork of Buddha Shakyamuni Prayer Thangka is traditionally hand-painted cotton canvas using acrylic paintings. Our artist painted this thangka in 24-karat gold and acrylic painting. Buddha is presented with offerings by his disciples while reclining in the middle of the art. His left hand, which is on his lap and is carrying an alms bowl with a serene look, is on his lap and is in the mudra of the soil.

Shakyamuni Buddha is the historical Buddha, the originator of Buddhist philosophy, and is commonly referred to as "the Buddha." In the Buddhist religion, each "Kalpa" (a Buddhist eon) is considered to have its own Buddha, whose teachings gradually fade until the next Buddha arrives. He is believed to have lived around 420 BC and spent most of his time preaching the teachings of Dharma. The Life of Buddha Thangka depicts his life in detail. He is regarded as a role model, mentor, and inspiration. The "dharma," or spiritual belief, and the "sanga," or Buddhist community, are said to secure his presence on Earth.
