Buddha Stupa Thangka Painting
About Our Thangka :
A dream-like thangka to grace the home or office space of the truly devoted. At the heart of the canvas stands the gracious Buddha with the almsbowl in His hands. Behind Him is a gleaming white stupa. At the steps of this stupa, and surrounding the same, are an abominable sight of monks, all of whom are facing and paying homage to the Shakyamuni.
Introduction To Stupa :
The word for Stupa is also known as Chorten in Tibetan, which means "the basis of offering". It is a symbol of the enlightened mind, (the awakened mind, universal divinity) and the path to its realization. It represents the Buddha's body, his speech, and his mind, but most especially his mind, and every part show the path to Enlightenment.
