Description

Traditional Tibetan Buddhist Painting Of Gautam Buddh

Historical Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted on this Gautam Buddha Thangka, sitting amid a magnificent background and practicing meditation. Our artist painted this thangka using 24K gold and shades of acrylic colors. He is seated on a moon disc lotus seat in the traditional earth-touching mudra with his legs crossed. The presence of beautiful lotus flowers and lush vegetation, such as trees and plants, enhances this thangka. Different deities and disciples surround Shakyamuni Buddha in the center. The disciples are making offerings to the deity. You can use this thangka painting for various purposes, such as meditation, Buddhist rituals, and even home décor. We assure you that the materials used in the thangka painting are of the highest quality and will last for years.

Note: Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Shakyamuni Buddha is the historical Buddha, the originator of Buddhist philosophy, and is commonly referred to as "the Buddha." In the Buddhist religion, each "Kalpa" (a Buddhist eon) is considered to have its own Buddha, whose teachings gradually fade until the next Buddha arrives. He is believed to have lived around 420 BC and spent most of his time preaching the teachings of Dharma. The Life of Buddha Thangka depicts his life in detail. He is regarded as a role model, mentor, and inspiration. The "dharma," or spiritual belief, and the "sanga," or Buddhist community, are said to secure his presence on Earth.
