Padampa Sangye With Machig Labdron, Tibetan Buddhist Art A rare thangka of Padampa Sangye. Along with Buddha and Bodhisattvas, all major disciples of Padampa Sangye are shown in the thangka. Amongst them is Machig Labdron, the founder of the Chod tradition in Tibet. Chöd is first and foremost a method for releasing the fixation on the intrinsic reality of a self and of phenomena. Chöd is distinctive in its radical methods of intensifying obsession and inducing emotional upheavals and apparitions of fear, the better to observe and sever them. This large size 8 ft x 11ft thangka is done in traditional Karma Gadri style. Traditional Dorje Drolo Rinpoche Art Best 35 x 49 Inches Dorje Drolo, Guru Rinpoche's wrathful emanation and one of his eight manifestations, is depicted in this thangka print. He's riding a ferocious, fierce tigress as she tramples on a corpse in a burning inferno. On top of his is Garuda also other wrathful and semi wrathful deities surround him.  Menri style of thangka painting, this painting will be a great support for any Dorje Drolo practitioner. We have painted this thangka following the Buddhist iconography and texts to make sure it presents all the right attributes to support your meditation practice. This thangka depicts the manifestations of Guru Rinpoche and his disciples.   Guru Rinpoche, The Lotus-born master: “Every morning and every evening, I will come to serve you  By riding the rays of the rising and setting sun.  On the tenths of the waxing moons, I will come in person. “ Guru Rinpoche is not only a fully enlightened Buddha, but he has also manifested as one of the greatest sages of the Vajrayana Buddhist world. He was born miraculously and served infinite beings for millenniums through the power of his wisdom and compassion. He manifested ZangdokPalri pure land and remains there in the body of light. Twelve years after the Mahaparinirvana of the Buddha, the rays of blessing light of the Buddha of Infinite Light touched a lotus in the Milk Ocean in the Southwest direction from Bodhgaya. As a result, Guru Rinpoche was born miraculously in that lotus by “lotus birth" without human parents. Through the meditations on DzogpaChenpo, Guru Rinpoche transformed his mortal body into “the rainbow-light-body of great transference." With such a pure light body, a person can live in the same body as long as he or she wishes, as his or her body is free from the conditions of gross elements. At the beginning of the ninth century, Guru Rinpoche visited Tibet at the invitation of King Trisong Deutsen to build the monastery and establish Buddhism. 21 Tara Thangka Print, High-Quality Canvas Print Twenty-one Tara Thangka prints can be the perfect gift for a Buddhist practitioner like you. Following the tradition, we painted this Rare 21 Tara assembly thangka in our studio. 21 Tara Practice: As we can see twenty-one Taras, each with different names, colors, and attributes. One might ask why there are 21 Taras in specific? The number 21 has a profound meaning. At the basic level, the Buddha taught us 21 techniques with which we may work to attain enlightenment.  The basis for our enlightenment is right where we find ourselves now, with the precious endowment of our own human body and our own buddha-nature. Vajrayana is similar to the sutra system, but with its method more specifically targeted. According to this, our human body consists of 21 knots. These are in pairs and they obstruct and block our inner channels. Through the practice of 21 Tara, we release each of these knots and obtain a specific experience of realization. From basic Buddhism all the way to Dzogchen, it is clearly mentioned that Buddhahood is an innate state within us. Our inherently awakened state is an already enlightened being, the Buddha. When we release those twenty-one knots, we attain the ultimate awakening known as the dharmakaya state. The Dharmakaya, in turn, has 21 spontaneously inherent qualities. They transcend duality, the compounded state, permanence and impermanence, and effort or striving. Unceasingly they arise as necessary for the benefit of all sentient beings. These 21 active dharmakaya qualities appear as 21 emanations of Tara. Thus Tara combines all the active energies of the three kayas by which we release our own knots and those of other beings, the energy by which we achieve enlightenment. Khenpola Lobo is one of the learned highly admired young Khenpola in Karma Kagyu tradition.In the center, we have Marpa Lotsawa who established the Kagyu tradition in Tibet. He spent more than 21 years in Nepal and India studying, collecting dharma.
