Citipatti: The Dancing Skeletons Thangka

SKU: 21452

Description

DRAWN AS MENTIONED IN THE MEDITATION MANUAL

In this Thangka, the Citipatti is depicted with intricate detail, their skeletal forms adorned with ornate bone jewelry and crowns, dancing in a dynamic and energetic manner. The natural stone colors, derived from minerals and earth pigments, lend a rich and earthy palette to the artwork, enhancing its authenticity and connection to the natural world.

The handmade cotton canvas provides a textured and organic background for the painting, adding to its artisanal charm and tactile appeal.

Despite its small size, this Citipatti Thangka carries profound symbolism and spiritual significance, inviting contemplation on the transient nature of existence and the importance of cultivating wisdom and compassion in the face of impermanence.
