The twenty-five disciples of Guru Rinpoche are the twenty-five of his greatest disciples in Tibet. They all attained supreme accomplishment and are said to be well-versed in the teachings of the Mahaguru. If we include King Trisong Detsen, the list goes on to be twenty-six. These disciples are: King Trisong Detsen, Namkhé Nyingpo, Nupchen Sangyé Yeshé, Gyalwa Chokyang, Khandro Yeshé Tsogyal, Palgyi Yeshé, Langchen Palgyi Sengé, Vairotsana, Nyak Jñanakumara, Gyalmo Yudra Nyingpo, Nanam Dorje Dudjom, Yeshé Yang, Sokpo Lhapal, Nanam Shyang Yeshé Dé, Kharchen Palgyi Wangchuk, Denma Tsémang, Kawa Paltsek, Shüpu Palgyi Sengé, Dré Gyalwé Lodrö, Drokben Khye’u Chung Lotsawa, Otren Palgyi Wangchuk, Ma Rinchen Chok, Lhalung Palgyi Dorje, Langdro Könchok Jungne, and Lasum Gyalwa Changchup.
