The deity potrayed in the thangka is Vajrayogini who is also locally known as Aakash yogini or Bijeshwari. Her temple is situated in Kathmandu on the banks of Bagmati river below Swayambhu stupa hill. This form of Vajrayogini practice is from the the tradition of Adwayavara / Maitripa.
