Arya Avalokiteshvara and the Bodhisattvas
Arya Avalokiteshvara is represented here with Bodhisattvas Manjushri, vajrapani , Guru Rinpoche, Guru Rinpoche, Shakyamuni Buddha and Buddha Amitabha. he is one of the most popular Bodhisattva in Vajrayana, celebrated and placed among the heart of every Tibetan Himalayan community. The practice of Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path.

Chenrezig, one of the most popular Bodhisattavs, is also popularly known as Avalokitesvara. In Vajrayana Buddhism, Chenrezig means gazing with the eyes of compassion in Tibetan words. Avalokitesvara Thangka is used to do visual meditation practice to develop a calm, kind, and compassionate heart.

As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
