Introduction to Bodhisattva
The bodhisattva is mostly seen as a unique and outstanding person. Only a few chosen people can become bodhisattvas (such as Maitreya). The bodhisattva path is commonly understood in Mahayana Buddhism to be open to everyone, and Mahayanists encourage everyone to become a bodhisattva. In the Mahayana Buddhist tradition, highly developed bodhisattvas like Avalokiteshvara, Maitreya, and Manjushri are also highly revered. They are thought to possess enormous magical power that they use to benefit all living things.

How do you take care of your statues?
Could you place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight?
Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
