Exquisite Bodhisattva Green Tara- Embodiment of Compassion | Featuring Amitabha, Namgyalma & Parnashavari
The Bodhisattva Green Tara thangka is hand-painted with genuine 24K gold and natural Lhasa stone pigments on high-quality cotton canvas. The artists in our studio have carefully followed the traditional Karma Gadri style, a Tibetan painting tradition known for its spacious compositions, soft color palettes, and intricate landscape details. Every hue is derived from natural and Lhasa stone colors, giving the painting a luminous, vibrant quality that endures through time. Applying pure gold adds a radiant glow to the jewelry, halos, and divine symbols, making this an original sacred art piece created with deep reverence and skill.
Green Tara, a beloved female Bodhisattva known as the "Mother of all Buddhas." She is adorned with golden jewelry, crowns, and silk scarves, radiating grace and strength. Her right hand is in a varada mudra while her left hand is in an abhaya mudra holding a blue utpala flower, signifying purity and protection. She is depicted in a posture of readiness—her right leg slightly extended to symbolize her willingness to come to the aid of sentient beings at any moment. Her left leg remains in a meditative pose, embodying wisdom.
Above Tara is Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light, who represents boundless compassion and presides over the Western Pure Land. To her right below is Namgyalma, the goddess of long life and purification, depicted with multiple arms, each holding symbols of liberation and wisdom. On her left sits Parnashavari, the forest goddess, known for her power to protect against epidemics and natural disasters. Each deity is rendered with intricate detail and iconographic accuracy, embodying their sacred attributes.
Together, these deities form a powerful spiritual mandala of protection, healing, and compassion. Green Tara offers swift aid, Amitabha grants peace and liberation, Namgyalma ensures longevity and spiritual cleansing, and Parnashavari shields against illness and unseen forces. Their presence in one thangka serves as a spiritual safeguard and reminder of enlightened beings' support.
This sacred thangka, suitable for meditation rooms, altars, or any sacred corner in your home, can be framed for a modern look or mounted in traditional silk brocade for a classical Tibetan feel.
