Peaceful Bodhisattva of Compassion Chenrezig Thangka
The Bodhisattva of Compassion Chenrezig is elegantly and precisely depicted in this thangka, hand-painted in our Enlightenment Studio. Vibrant acrylic colors are utilized to create the artwork on cotton canvas, with genuine 24K gold incorporated for exquisite details. The gold enhances the crown, jewelry, and offering symbols, giving them depth and spiritual radiance. This thangka adheres to the traditional Karma Gadri style, known for its expansive compositions and soft, flowing landscapes. Chenrezig is portrayed sitting calmly on a lotus seat, emphasizing his transcendence over samsara and representing purity. His central hands are positioned in Anjali Mudra, a gesture of devotion, while his right upper hand holds a rosary (mala), signifying the continuous cycle of compassion.
